Victoria Beckham unveiled her first signature LV Handbags at her Nyc Fashion Week show.
The singer-turned-fashion-designer debuted her Spring/Summer 11 line within a townhouse on Manhattan's Upper East Side yesterday afternoon. Garden was comprised of 26 elegant dresses and her first statement bag.
Victoria sat in the front row giving her very own commentary on the many looks, discussing her inspirations, fabrics along with the techniques employed making each dress and accessory.
Victoria said she was particularly like to show off her bag, which will sell for ?1200. She said she'd developed the luxury item in collaboration with Marc Jacobs designer Katie Hillier and was relieved to have Katie's knowledge of the region.
"I knew some tips i wanted, however i needed someone using the expertise, isn't about factories," Victoria said.
The Victoria Women Handbags is a square, two-handled tote which comes in two colours, buffalo and crocodile. In addition, it comes in two sizes, one smaller bag and something large travelling one.
Victoria's dresses received admiring gasps because they dropped the runway. Inside a departure from her usual style, Victoria favoured flowy silhouettes as opposed to her usual structure and corsetry.
